At the Event Production Show, we’re championing a more sustainable approach to live events. Each year, we seek new ways to reduce our environmental footprint and support a greener future for the industry. Here’s how we’re approaching EPS 2026:
Venue
EPS 2026 takes place at ExceL London, the first UK venue of its kind to be certified carbon neutral, achieving the internationally recognised PAS 2060 standard. You can learn more about ExceL’s sustainability initiatives here.
Key Partnerships
Thanks to our registration partner, You. Smart. Thing., we’ve significantly reduced travel-related emissions. At EPS 2025, just 6% of attendees planned driving-only journeys - an outstanding achievement and a benchmark for 2026.
Lanyards
All lanyards will be eco-friendly, made from sustainable materials such as bamboo. Clearly marked collection bins will be available so lanyards can be properly recycled after the event.
Signage
To reduce waste, we’ll use digital signage throughout the venue and the EPS app to keep attendees informed. Where printed signage is necessary, it will be fully recycled after the event.
Reducing Plastic Waste
Recycling points will be positioned throughout ExceL, and we encourage everyone to make the most of the water refill stations to cut down on single-use plastic bottles.
We’re committed to making the Event Production Show an inclusive and welcoming space for everyone. From quiet areas to mobility support and on-site guidance, we’ve taken steps to ensure all our visitors can access and enjoy the show comfortably.
EventWell Hub
For anyone experiencing sensory overload or seeking a moment of tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of the show, our Quiet Room offers a peaceful sanctuary, located at the EventWell Resilience Hub (International Confex).
Human Signage
To assist our visually impaired guests, we offer human signage services, ensuring a more accessible and navigable experience throughout the event. Our friendly staff are here to guide you, ensuring you can move around safely and with ease.
Portable Ramps
Our commitment to accessibility includes the provision of a portable ramp, ready to be deployed wherever needed. This ensures that stages and feature areas are accessible to everyone, promoting inclusivity and participation for all guests.
