Sylvia is Director of Ask for Angela CIC and has over 25 years’ experience across public safety, licensing and the hospitality sector. Through Ask for Angela, she supports venues and organisations by providing training and resources that help them implement the scheme effectively and create welcoming, well-managed social spaces where people feel supported.

Sylvia also leads Best Bar None nationally, working with local authorities and venues to implement the scheme and raise standards in venue management, staff training and customer experience. As CEO of consultancy Six Till Six, she supports local areas to develop night-time economy strategies, achieve Purple Flag status and introduce practical initiatives that improve how social spaces operate.

Her work is rooted in partnership, practicality and inclusion, with a focus on real-world approaches that make a positive difference.
