Mark Huddleston is Director of Event Delivery for World Rugby, leading operational capability and delivery for Rugby World Cups. With over 24 years of experience in the sporting sector, Mark began his career in Sports Development & Performance Pathways within Higher Education, before moving into major sporting events at the London 2012 Olympics. Since then, Mark has played pivotal roles in planning and delivering multiple Commonwealth Games, as well as Cricket and Rugby World Cups.
In his current role, Mark oversees Venue Management, City Operations, and Event Services, ensuring exceptional experiences for all client groups—including fans and participants. Mark’s leadership is characterised by a commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and collaboration, consistently elevating the profile of major sporting events and enhancing the fan experience.
