David is a Senior Associate at Controlled Events' working on training and exercises. His extensive experience includes being Head of Security for Commonwealth Games 2022, Trainer with the College of Policing with over 30 years operational and tactical experience in Counter Terrorist and Major Crime Search, CBRN response, Public Order and Public Safety Operations.

David has extensive experience as Operational Commander in public order and public safety events and in turn is a trainer in this field both nationally and internationally at both practitioner and management levels as well as in various specialist skill sets. David has been a key responder in Disaster Management, being responsible for operational preparedness and multi-agency exercising.
