Chet Olafsson
Chet Olafsson is the resident Silent Yoga Instructor and Sales Director for Silent Seminars and Silent Noize Events Ltd. Her wellbeing journey began over 30 years ago, when she first discovered meditation and yoga. At 21, a profound spiritual experience led her to Osho’s ashram in Pune, India, where she immersed herself in yoga and dynamic meditation.
Chet is a qualified Reiki practitioner, holds a 200-hour RYT Yoga Teacher Training Certificate, and is a certified Teen Yoga and Mindfulness teacher. With a strong background in martial arts, she has trained extensively in Shaolin Tiger Crane Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Chi Gung with the Nam Yang Pugilistic Association, as well as boxing, Ki Aikido, and Gracie Jiu Jitsu.
Her teaching spans a wide spectrum — from corporate staff and conference delegates, to university and school students, teenagers, professionals, older people, and those with learning disabilities. Alongside her role at Silent Seminars and Silent Noize Events, she continues to teach private students and group classes.
Chet’s corporate background includes years in PR and broadcasting, working in both TV and radio as a journalist. This experience gives her a deep understanding of the pressures of modern working life and the importance of wellbeing practices to sustain performance and resilience.
At Silent Seminars and Silent Noize Events, Chet combines cutting-edge technology with wellbeing practice. Their unique approach allows yoga, meditation, and mindfulness to be practiced anywhere — in offices, at conferences, indoors or outdoors — through immersive silent headset experiences.
“Through creative sequencing, technology, a spirit of playfulness, and a dose of inspiration to deepen your practice, I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind, and soul with yoga, breathwork, and relaxation. You will finish the session feeling refreshed, nourished, and balanced.”
