Cat Kevern

Managing Director - Electric Cat & NOWIE, NOWIE, Electric Cat

Cat Kevern is an events industry stalwart, marketing expert, champion of women
and entrepreneur. No wonder Access All Areas named her one of their 100 Most
Influential People in the Events Industry 2025 - all before turning 30.

Cat has worked in live events for over a decade and her energy and enthusiasm for
the events industry isn’t slowing down, it sees her holding multiple roles - as the
Founder and Director of B2B marketing agency, Electric Cat, as Director of NOWIE
(The Network of Women in Events CIC).

Cat is passionate about promoting equal opportunities for women in the events
industry. Under her leadership, NOWIE has undertaken the event industry’s biggest
survey delving into women’s lived experiences, supported 150 mentees through
Level Up Mentorship Programme, developed a vibrant community of over 5,000
women, and been recognised as Accessibility and Inclusion Initiative of the Year
2024 by the NOEA Awards.

As Director of Electric Cat, Cat leads a dynamic marketing team specialising in B2B
events marketing. Her agency has become a tried-and-true favourite among event
industry suppliers and organisers. She has collaborated with notable clients such as
Event Tech Live, Arena, Ginger Owl and many more.

Cat also co-hosts "The Neon Lounge” - an interview-style podcast bringing fresh
industry insights with humour and personality. Through this initiative, she can further
platform her advocacy, which focuses on diversity, breaking the glass ceiling for
women and underrepresented groups, whilst promoting best practices in the events
industry.

Cat is a seasoned keynote and panel speaker on a vast range of topics from DEI,
entrepreneurship, marketing, building a brand and the power of networking. She has
recently chaired panels at AIF x BIMM x Team Love CIC (Big Love) on “The Future of
Festivals”, and at Event Sustainability Live on “Mind the Gap: Striving for better DEI in
the Events Industry” as well as giving a keynote speech on Women In Events at the
Night Time Industries Association Summit.
