Carl Hagemann is the General Manager of ADIPS Ltd. Carl is a Chartered Health and Safety Practitioner and Director of the Event Industry Forum. Carl, previously Chair of the IOSH Sports Grounds and Events Group has worked on global games events such as the Olympics, Commonwealth games and latterly was the Health, Safety and Licensing Manager for the Glasgow 2018 European Championships.
Having worked for over 20 years in Local Authority service and managed Safety Advisory Groups, he held the role of Senior Health and Safety Officer for Glasgow, Durham, North Tyneside and Sunderland City Councils. Carl is well versed in the needs of event organisers and public bodies with their need to balance an innovative events programme whilst mitigating health and safety and reputational risks. He has well established links with the HSE promoting positive collaboration.

With experience of being a event manager, Carl has a passion for sharing the vibrancy that funfair attractions can bring to any event big or small - hopefully gaining extra ticket sales. Being thrilled or even scared is the point of most funfair rides!
