NOWIE

The Network of Women in Events (NOWIE) was established in 2013, with the goal of improving the working landscape for women in the live events industry. NOWIE defines a woman as anyone who identifies or is happy to be identified as part of a group of women. Founded on the principles of women supporting women and the importance of community to bolster success, NOWIE amassed an online following of over 7,000 women. In the years since, NOWIE has undergone many big changes: Cat Kevern became Chair of the organisation in 2021, and most recently, reformed NOWIE as a Community Interest Company (CIC)
