Winner Winner!

On Wednesday 28th February, at the Event Production Awards 2024, AreoAVA were awarded Best Aerial Spectacular for their delivery of 4 consecutive "end of night shows" at the Isle of Wight Festival.

Tom Rees, Managing Director of AeroAVA on receiving the award said, "Tonight has been a wonderful surprise for all of our flight and ground crew at AeroAVA. We are thrilled to have been awarded this credit together with our show design partners Skyworx."

Rees continued, "...given the high quality and significance of the other nominees shows, it is a great honour to be recognised in this way and are privileged to have been part of the shortlisted group, let alone the winners!

“Flying a 500 drone show each night on 4 consecutive nights is no mean feat. To do it in operational school grounds, where we had to rebuild our flight command infrastructure every evening following the end of the school day meant that we had to work with military precision to be ready for our flight times each night.”

In conclusion Rees added, “…we want to thank The Event Production Awards organisers, Mash Media and Access All Areas for the delivery of a fantastic awards ceremony and the incredible Event Production Show.”
