What’s the Travel Forecast?

Chris Thompson is the founder of low-carbon travel demand management platform, ‘You. Smart. Thing.’, which focuses on reducing the carbon footprint of the live events sector. In this session Chris will unpick the impact of Scope 3 emissions captured from visitor travel to festivals, theatres, exhibitions and conferences, and major sporting events. The talk looks at how event organisers in the live entertainment sector can more accurately forecast travel demand, and reveals how some of YST's clients have incentivised travel behaviour change in order dramatically reduce the overall carbon footprint of their events.
